1/2 Cup Onion, Chopped
2 Tbsp Butter or Margarine
12 Oz Beer (Bottled NOT Canned)
1/2 Cup Carrot, finely chopped
1/2 Cup Celery, finely Chopped
2 Cups Chiclten Broth
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Ground Cumin
1/4 Tsp Ground Nutmeg
Dash Ground Cloves
In a 2 qt. saucepan cook onion in butter until tender
Stir in beer, carrots and celery, heat to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 min.
Stir in chicken broth, salt, cumin, nutmeg, cloves and pepper.
Heat to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 min.
Remove from heat, add sour cream and cheese and stir until blended and serve hot
