Conch Fritters

8 Oz Conch Meat

1 Cup Flour

1 Tsp Sugar

1 Tsp Baking Powder

1 Egg, Beaten

6-8 Tbsp Milk

1 Jalapeno Pepper, Minced

1/4 Cup Red Bell Pepper, Finely Minced

1/4 Cup Celery, Minced

Salt to Taste

Fresh Ground Black Pepper to Taste

Oil for Frying


Grind conch in food processor

Combine flour, sugar, baling powder and egg in a large bowl and beat well

Add milk a little at a time to obtain a thick paste

Stir in conch, vegetables, salt and pepper

Drop 1" balls in 350 deg. oil and fry until golden brown

Drain on paper towels
