Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Yellow Corn Meal
  • 1 Tbsp. Double-Acting Baking Powder
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Cup Tinned Cream-Style Corn
  • 1/2 Cup Corn Oil
  • 2 Eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 Tsp. Salt

Directions

  1. Combine cornmeal and baking powder.
  2. Stir in sour cream, creamed corn, corn oil, eggs and salt.
  3. Pour batter into a well-buttered baking pan (12"x9").
  4. Bake in preheated oven (400°) for 25-30 minutes, until top is golden.
