Crab Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 Lb. Crab meat (fresh is best)
  • 1/2 Cup Diced Green Pepper
  • 1/2 Cup Diced Red Pepper
  • 4 Tbsp Diced Onion
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Parsley (or fresh mint)
  • 1 Egg (whipped)
  • 1 Tsp Celery Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Saute onion and peppers in the butter until tender
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Form into cakes(3/4" thick)
  4. Fry in a heavy skillet (in peanut oil) on med. heat until golden brown.
