Frijoles Refritos

1/2 Cup Lard or Vegetable Oil

2 Cups Pinto Beans, Cooked

2 Tbsp Chili Powder

1 Tbsp Ground Cumin

1 Tsp Salt

1/2 Tsp Pepper


Heat oil to hot in a 10" skillet and add the pinto beans

Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 min.

Mash beans, add the chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper

Stir until a smooth paste forms (adding more oil if necessary)
