Barbecue Sauce (Tennessee Style)


  • 6 Oz. Olive Oil
  • 8 Oz. Ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tsp. Mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Horseradish
  • 6 Oz. Beer
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Vinegar
  • 6 Oz. Water
  • Salt, Pepper, Everglades Seasoning to Taste


  1. Combine all ingredients and cook over a low heat for 30 minutes, simmer but do not boil.
  2. Baste meat with sauce only during the last few minutes of cooking, as it burns easily.


  • Everglades Seasoning is made in Belle Glade, FL and may not be available in some places. If you can't get it just leave it out.
  • Works well on smoked fish, but add after smoking is at least 3/4 complete.
