Parmesan Onions


  • 1/2 Large Vidalia Onion Per Person
  • Butter or Margarine
  • Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt


  1. Make one 12" square of aluminum foil for each onion half
  2. Peal onions and place on a square of foil
  3. Add butter, salt, pepper and cheese to taste
  4. Bake or grill for approx. 40 minutes or until tender


  • For grilling, margarine does not burn as easily as butter
