1 Med Onion, Chopped (About 1/2 Cup)

2 Tbsp Oil

1 Can Tomatoes, Stewed, 16 oz.

3 Cups Beef, Shredded, Cooked

3/4 Cup Green Olives, Chopped

1/2 Cup Raisins

2 Cloves Garlic, Minced

1 Tbsp Capers

1 Tsp Oregano, Dried


In a heavy skillet cook onion in oil

Add stewed tomatoes, cover and simmer 5 min.

Stir in beef, olives, raisins, garlic, capers and oregano

Cover and simmer for 1.5 min.


Serve over rice or use in other recipes
