Picadillo

Ingredients

  • 1 Med Onion, Chopped (About 1/2 Cup)
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Can Tomatoes, Stewed, 16 oz.
  • 3 Cups Beef, Shredded, Cooked
  • 3/4 Cup Green Olives, Chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Raisins
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Tbsp Capers
  • 1 Tsp Oregano, Dried

Directions

  1. In a heavy skillet cook onion in oil
  2. Add stewed tomatoes, cover and simmer 5 min.
  3. Stir in beef, olives, raisins, garlic, capers and oregano
  4. Cover and simmer for 1.5 min.

  • Serve over rice or use in other recipes
